It is said that the most successful companies treat their employees like customers (Forbes). Of course, the customer remains king, but employees are the ambassadors of a brand.

Well, not to toot our own horn, but we recently hired one of the very first Orbit customers. Sondre Bratlie became an Orbit customer in June 2021 and seven months later he became a part of the Orbit team. We sat down with Sondre to ask him how this came about and what it is like to go from paying customer to working on the frontlines.
I have a varied background and actually started working in retail right after high school. I worked as a manger in Kiwi for about three years before I went back to school to study communications. After that I founded 3475 Coworking and Bratlie Eiendom AS together with my dad. 3475 Coworking is a coworking space located in Sætre, Asker and Bratlie Eiendom is a real estate company with a growing portfolio of real estate in the area.
I work as a customer success manager. My role is varied and involves sales, installation of our hardware, onboarding new hosts and customer success. I feel that I have the opportunity to be involved in the whole process from initial contact to completion of the project which I believe is a real value for our wonderful customers and users.
I loved it. The first time I heard about Orbit was during a webinar early 2021. Right after I sent an email to Wasim and asked if we could hook 3475 Coworking to the Orbit network. A week later we had Orbit hardware on our doors and all our customers were onboarded to Orbit. That was a huge step for us as we gave our customers the ability to access 3475 digitally but also to have the opportunity to sell a good product on top of our subscription making 3475 Coworking better. Everything worked smoothly and Orbit quickly got a star in my book.
I felt welcomed from the moment I entered the office on my first day. Orbit is a company with the right values and great ambitions. Combining those two means that we have a really good base for further growth going forward. For a company that was built fully remotely and during the pandemic, they still managed to build culture. What I noticed right away was the trust the rest of the team gave me right away. Working in a start-up you need to be trusted to move fast and make decisions on the spot. Everyone in the team is sharing the same ambition so it is really fun to work with Orbit at the moment.
