Effectus Analytics' 14-person team leverages advanced analytics to build custom productivity tools that improve e-commerce and online advertising processes for enterprise clients, so Alex Bull, the company's Managing Partner, knows a thing or two about efficiency.Orbit's Emily Northway spoke to Alex about his experience leveraging the Orbit experience to explore, trial and establish a new home base for Effectus.
Not to toot our own horn, but we recently hired one of the very first Orbit customers. Sondre Bratlie became an Orbit customer in June 2021 and seven months later he became a part of the Orbit team. We sat down with Sondre to ask him how this came about and what it is like to go from paying customer to working on the frontlines.
We are thrilled to announce that we have added Share Oslo on the Orbit network. Share is a dynamic coworking space located in the heart of Oslo. They are founded on the idea that sharing knowledge and experience is key to making more people succeed, which is why sharing is in the core of everything they do.
We are super excited to have Epicenter on the Orbit app, which gives businesses access to flexible workspaces and hosts some of the coolest events in the Oslo startup scene (including TEDx talks and Chip’n’Beer after-work where you can sign up to get a subdermal chip implant). 🔮
For mange har jobben forlatt kontoret.
Spending a workday in Oslo? Here’s where to grab a coffee, have lunch and spend your evening — all conveniently located near Orbit spaces.
We must avoid thinking “either-or” when it comes to the workplace vs. home office. Here are three reasons why:
The space opportunity is large for companies that think new. The office buildings have been empty for the past year. We can now see a light at the end of the pandemic tunnel — so what happens now?
Orbit is rethinking the office, making it possible for teams to work from anywhere, for companies to save money, and for landlords to make more money. All while reducing emissions. (Did you know that real estate accounts for 1/3 of all CO2 emissions!?). This is not about starting a new business. We are about to start a movement. We believe that’s the best business.
McKinsey makes it clear that leaders in organizations need to communicate more often with their employees post-pandemic. “Organizations that have stated more specific guidelines for the future workplace have noted that employees are happier and more productive,” writes McKinsey.
Not only is where you work up to you but when you work is as well. Flexible working at Orbit also includes certain flexibility over hours. This may seem extreme to some, but we believe that with the right hires, they will perform their best work where and when they choose.
